James Thomas leads Kronos’ India sales operation, connecting every day with both prospective and current customers and employees across the region. As country manager, James is responsible for driving the experience of regional and global customers, working with organisations to identify their core business goals and transform their workforce management approach to achieve them.

Throughout his tenure with Kronos, James has focused on evangelising a nascent India market to embrace cutting-edge workforce management and human capital management platforms for operational excellence and an enhanced employee experience. Alongside a high-performing team of sales and service professionals, he supports the customer and partner ecosystems in India, constantly looking for opportunities for better understand and facilitate organisational growth and success.

When James launched the Kronos India business in 2007, he came with a decades-long track record of leadership and general management experience in India and Asia Pacific in strategy, sales, consulting, business development, and alliances, specifically holding leadership positions with Oracle in India and Asia Pacific. In addition to his professional career, he is passionate about farming, social entrepreneurship, and causes of national significance.

James holds an electronics engineering degree with honors from the National Institute of Technology in Kozhikode, India, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India.
